Christmas vibes

19:05

How is your weekend going so far? Lately, I have been really busy with the law school... I guess it is easy to tell by fewer and fewer posts I have shared here. Nevertheless, December, this magnificent time, has started and I hope it is not too early for Christmas themed pictures from the Old Town. Snowy weather, hot-chocolate, lights and beautiful decorations- it all inspired me to go out for a walk and explore the Christmas market at the heart of the old city. ☃

First snow

22:35

November has just started and it arrived with a beautiful surprise- the first snow. I love the fact that winter is coming. Streets, trees and buildings are covered in a magic wand which makes everything look so pure and powdery.

Last Friday I went to the show "Kings on ice" were world-known figure skaters such as Florent Amodio, Evgeni Plushenko, Adelina Sotnikova and Brian Joubert (my idol) were performing. It was magical to see these stars by my own eyes as I have followed the world of ice-skating since my childhood (I used to practice this sport with my sister in the good old days and then changed dancing on the ice to ballroom dances and contemporary dance afterwards).

Dreams do really come true!

After this dark day all I wanted to do was to focus on positive memories. I hope for unity and brighter future! Best wishes, Zane.

Country living

12:37

"Happiness can be found in the smallest of things."

No matter how much I love big cities, exploring new places and meeting my friends in cozy cafes, there is always something magical about returning to the countryside. Especially in the summer which offers us endless possibilties to enjoy the most of the nature. Quick swims in the Baltic Sea (which can be so cold), sunbathing, long walks in the warm sands at the beach, some yoga... the list goes on and on. That was my last weekend like and I enjoyed it very much.
Do you like country living? I wish you a happy Friday and a great weekend! xx, Zane

Bright colours

Happy Sunday! In this post I wanted to feature some of this summer's unpublished photos. When the heatwave arrived in the capital city the perfect outfit for dealing with it was light clothes in bright colours. Now I am a little bit missing these days as the usual Latvian green summer has returned. My only hope- August when my sister is going to return from her internship in Madrid and she could take the heat home.
How is your summer going so far? xx, Zane

It was a hot day in the Old Riga. Perfect one for trying on a completely new jumpsuit and spending a lot of time in the old town. The sun was shining, cobbled streets full of foodie stops, boutiques and pretty flower bouquets... summer at its finest. What else I could ask for? xx, Zane

Hello everyone! How was your weekend? I am feeling indescribably happy as the final exams have officialy ended. This weekend I went out to enjoy the sunny weather as well as to catch the golden light. In the end I realised that almost everything was in bloom. It was amazing to see how much the scenery has changed during these past few weeks of  exam madness. I hope you will like these photos.

Museum night`16

22:18

How was your weekend? Yesterday I enjoyed the most of the Museum Night 2016, visiting Riga Art Nouveau Museum. This year the slogan was "Doors to the past" and as you can see I entered another century by trying on Art Deco costumes. Hope you will like these photos.

Lots of love,
xx Zane
