Hello! How is your weekend going so far? I would like to start October (which came so quickly) with a recap from some great moments in September. First month at law school has already flied away. It was a challenging yet amazing time fulfilled with first case studies, presentations, mountains of assignments as well as Initiation Ceremony (picture with pyramid) and meeting amazing people.

From 8-10 September I took part as a volunteer in the European Society of International Law (ESIL) 12th Annual Conference "How International Law works in times of crisis". More than 400 legal professionals arrived in Riga and it was a surreal feeling to help this event happen. Some of the venues where I participated were Riga Graduate School of Law, Riga Castle with ceremonial reception by Latvian president (pinch-me moment being in the same room) and conference dinner at Riga Latvian Society. 



I guess this post explains my absence in blogging world these past few weeks :)

After the graduation ceremony, we headed to an amazing restaurant Koya in the Andrejosta district together with my family and closest friends. I could not have wished for a better way to celebrate the end of high school. It is also the place where I went yachting almost a year ago (see the post Evening on a yacht ). Thank you so much for the lovely comments and have a great week!

Flowers, beautiful dresses, smile on everybody's face, happiness and gratitude- that pretty much sums up mine graduation ceremony yesterday. It is hard to put in words how quickly senior year passed by and what an amazing time it was. Now it is the moment to enter in the big world and follow the dreams.

It's been an absolutely wonderful year. These photos make me think about events that occured and the great memories that I made. I'm grateful for all the opportunities such as working at Disneyland Paris where I met amazing people from all around the world, as well as passing French exam (DELF B2). Travels in Spain (Sevilla, Cordoba), Andora la Vella and France (Carcassone, Avignon, Paris) were such an inspiration. While writing this I'm pretty sure that 2016 has something good in store for everyone. I hope that next year will bring just as much happiness and exictement as this one did. So cheers to a new year my dear followers and another chance for us to make our dreams come true!

It is time to draw a conclusion-summer 2015' surely was one of the best ones I have ever had. 
The biggest challenge and experience? Working at Disneyland Paris, place where dreams come true.  Almost two months in the world of magic made me grow better. From now on, I truly believe that we can achieve our dreams and 'the secret to getting ahead is getting started'. Just dream,explore and discover. 
What was your summer like? 


C'est le temps de tirer une conclusion-l'été 2015' a été sûrement l'un des meilleurs que j'aie jamais eu. 
Le défi le plus grand et la plus grande expérience? Le travail à Disneyland Paris, l'endroit où rêve devient réalité. Presque deux mois au monde de la magie m'a fait s'améliorer. À partir de maintenant, je vraiment crois qu'on peut réaliser ses rêves. Il faut seulement rêver, explorer et découvrir.

Just a while ago I was searching for a new sportswear. Then I found Nike studio wrap shoes which are the perfect ones for yoga, dance or ballet workout. I ordered them in yellow color. Watching the photos of 2014 and thinking about what a brilliant year it's been. Traveling to Vienna, Reims, Poitiers, Bordeaux, Bayonne, Valencia. Launching blog La vie est un bon voyage about my move to Madrid.  I'm so grateful.

Exactly two months ago I arrived in Madrid. While living abroad, time flies so quickly. It teaches you many things. The beggining is not easy. Perhaps life abroad is not meant for everybody. It is the best experience you may ever have. Definitely, traveling to a different country, knowing a little bit of its language and customs, not knowing anyone, it may be scary but it is worth it.
That is a real adrenaline rush!

So this is it. I made a decision. I was brave enough to become one of the travelers who do everything in order to make their dreams come true. I left my beautiful country-Latvia to join my sister and start a new,more colorful page of my life.
My destination for this adventure is sunny Madrid. City which has million places worth seeing. Large museums,pretty cafés,tasty paellas and excellent shops.
