Hello there! Art museums are a major source of inspiration for me and I am always fond of exploring the newest exhibitions. During these sunny and incredibly warm days I visited the Latvian National Museum of Art. It was an evening well spent surrounded by paintings and the best company! I am looking forward to repeating it.
How was your weekend? Yesterday I enjoyed the most of the Museum Night 2016, visiting Riga Art Nouveau Museum. This year the slogan was "Doors to the past" and as you can see I entered another century by trying on Art Deco costumes. Hope you will like these photos.
Lots of love,
xx Zane
This week I visited the open door days of the Latvian National Museum of Art. I had an amazing chance to take a glimpse of the vast and posh rooms after the works of reconstruction. The past meets the contemporary art and creates a marvelous place for every art lover as me. I cannot wait the 4th May to return to the museum when every painting will be in its place and the reconstruction will be completely done.

'Animals and Pharaohs-the animal kingdom in Ancient Egypt'. It really is a great exposition directly from Musée du Louvre.Walking through every room in Caixa Forum, I learned interesting facts about Ancient Egypt.
'Goya en Madrid' at Museo del Prado was a real masterpiece. Francisco de Goya undoubtedly is one of the greatest Spanish painters of all time. Seeing his and other brilliant painter works was definitely worth waiting the long, long queue.
