The moment when I discovered that August has become the new month of ballet at the Latvian National Opera I could not be more happier about it. Dancing is one of my biggest passions and I have always been fond of seeing the amazing performances at the opera house, especially the graceful ballet.

We decided to go to the contemporary ballet "Bolero" with my family which I saw it for another time (it was still so impressive). Here is the previous post Evening at the opera

Imagine Dragons, "Smoke and mirrors" tour was simply spectacular. I enjoyed every single minute of this show which took place in Riga at the weekend. It was a night to remember. How was your weekend?

Evening at the opera

Première of Maurice Ravel's "Boléro" at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet was simply spectacular. Contemporary ballet,beautiful costumes and the perfect music made this one of the best spectacles I've ever seen. What was your Friday evening like?

´´La Traviata´´ and ´´Yves Saint Laurent´´

On Friday evening I went to L´Institut Français de Madrid to see retransmission of Giuseppe´s Verdi brilliant opera ´´La Traviata´´ directly from el Teatro Real ( Royal Opera). It is really hard to express my feelings into words, I think ´´La Traviata´´ is a masterpiece, a true gem which everyone should see to understand better the influence of society in our lives.

The next day I participated in Documenta Madrid 2015 film festvial. Among many great documentary films, I chosed the one about legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. It was a fantastic way to explore Yve´s character and his immense talent. Yves Saint Laurent famous clothes, Parisian interiors and the great French actors made this film special.

Yves Saint Laurent sans doute était le Roi de haute couture que je n'oublierai jamais.

Yves Saint Laurent undoubtedly was the king of haute couture who I won´t forget.
