Exploring places

14:07

Being a tourist in your own city.

Taking freshly baked pistachio macarons at local French bakery and going to explore places afterwards. That was my plan for one August evening. I had a really good time walking in my neighbourhood, changing daily routine and taking new streets instead of the ones I am used to.

Did you watch the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games? (I did and I was amazed by the beautiful Gisele's catwalk) Have a great Sunday! Lots of love, Zane

Grenoble in spring

12:36

Here is a little throwback to my trip to Grenoble during Easter holidays. It was great to hike in the Bastille fortress together with my sister who was studying in Grenoble for one year. I really enjoyed the time with her in this city in French Alps. Hope you will like these pictures! :)

Daffodils, tartelette and macaron-these are few of my favorite things

Sunday mood

I guess that cloudy days are perfect for reading, aren't they? Vogue Paris with incredible Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia on the cover, as well as delicious macarons and colorful tulips made this Sunday a good one. How was your weekend?

Small things that matter

There's nothing better than sketching on a Friday evening (I love watercoloring), re-reading and leafing trough Vogue Paris magazine archives and trying way too much macarons, I admit. What are Friday evenings for right? Wish you an awesome week-end!

Starting the first of June by visiting Thyssen-Bornemisza museum and trying freshly baked macarons is the perfect way how to wait the summer.

Small streets

19:27

No matter which city it is, it is always only for the best to change the everyday route and see your town in a different light.
After going to Mercado de San Miguel and buying a delicious raspberry macaron and refreshing mango smoothie, I tried new streets in Sol quartier. For me it was a real discovery. Small streets, extraordinary façades and gardens revealed another face of Madrid.
I wish you all a great Friday! :) After all changing a route is worth a try, isn't it?

Madrid guide: Mercado de San Miguel

12:22

Mercado de San Miguel is a great place to shop.  It is one of Madrid’s oldest and most beautiful markets. You can order typical Spanish tapas or discover fresh fruits, delicious macarons and smoothies. It is definitely a great place where to enjoy a Sunday morning. I promise you these strawberries that I bought were one of the best ones that I have ever tasted. Despite the fact that it is an extremely cold February outside, you can buy excellent oranges, cherries or pineapples. I highly recommend this market if you happen to visit Madrid.
